WHAT IS FUN ARTS?
Fun Arts is an exciting discipleship opportunity for kids across the state of Iowa to discover their gifts and learn how to develop and use them in ways that glorify God! The goal of Fun Arts is not to create talented and gifted kids who are simply exciting to watch on stage. Our prayer is that each child that participates in Fun Arts would discover their PASSION, PURPOSE, and POTENTIAL in the gifts God has given them. From drawing pictures, to singing praise, or delivering a short gospel message; we believe the students of Iowa can begin to develop their gifts in ways that will continue to serve them as they walk in the calling God has upon each of their lives! Fun Arts is meant to be a discipleship development tool. Students will not receive a score for their entries, but will receive constructive feed back to encourage them to continue to grow in their giftings.

Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) says, “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
God made you on purpose—a true MASTERPIECE, created in His image. He has given each of us special gifts and abilities so we can share His love and the good news of Jesus with the world.
Our world is broken and needs hope, joy, and truth—and God wants to use your creativity to help share His message.
That’s why our theme for Fun Arts 2026 is:
CREATIVE: Made in His Image, Sharing His Message.
Our prayer is that you will boldly use the gifts God has given you—through art, music, movement, words, and more—to show others the love of Jesus.
