First Time Volunteer Applicaiton Process:

1. Fill out Volunteer Application- You will need to add four adult references to your application that you have had a relationship with for six months or more. We ask for the first reference to be from Berean staff or leadership, the next reference is your employer and remaining two are other personal references. Make sure you have current email addresses and phone numbers for your references before you begin. Click here to go to volunteer application.
2. Reference Check- Once you have submitted your application, we will reach out to your references through email with a short reference check that takes less then 5 minutes to complete.
3. Background Check- When we have received responses from at least two of your references we will then send you a background check request through a company called Checkr.
4. Pastoral Approval- After your references and background check results are received your application will go to Pastor Gary for approval.
5. Volunteer- You are now ready to volunteer! Once you have made it through the whole process, we will let you know that you have been approved and tell you how to sign up for times in the ministry area you have selected.
